The possible short-term loss of Lasek is not a big deal. The kid needs to develop and will not be a factor but to lose a guy who is a Jr. and expected to play has to hurt a bit. I also am interested in how the team looks early on, I have read, read, read and read about how talented many of these new guys are but we have been down that road before so I want to know the scoop from someone who has seen them.

By the way, I see that Bradley U. played a number of games against teams in Canada these past 2 months. How do they get away with this and is it legal now? If so, why are the necks not doing this type of thing?

Most everyone is picking Western for 7th. I can't help but think they will be up 3-4 places, especially if what we hear is truei.e. new player talent.

ORU is very strong, but after that, I believe several other schools lost a lot of players. Hope they do well, maybe Western can surprise a lot of folks this year.

Women should be strong too. They need to win in the conference tourney!
