The proposed stadium, a $400,000 project, will be among the nationís top facilities including a state-of-the-art pressbox with two media rooms and an alumni hospitality lounge. New team dugouts also will be a part of the stadium project with bench seating for 25 players, equipment storage cabinents and racks, restroom facilities and a water fountain. Fixed seating will be available for up to 90 spectators, surrounded by bleacher seating behind each dugout. Fold-up seats will include a cup holder and display Western Illinois Purple and Gold. Upon entering the stadium at the ground level, two rooms will be available for fans to purchase Western Illinois Baseball souvenirs and concessions. Public restrooms with handicap accessibility will be available as well as convenient ramps at the front gate, emergency exits, and multiple areas for wheelchair seating. The exterior of the stadium will be designed with the Western Illinois campus in mind. Iron fences and landscape will surround the brick facility.
