Thomas and company fall short on the road--Western Courier

J.J. JUMPER, THE OFFICIAL MASCOT OF NCAA BASKETBALL TO APPEAR AT CHICAGO STATE ON VALENTINE’S DAY--CSU Website
Rumor has it that J.J. Jumper was supposed to ride on the IUPUI bus from NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis to Chicago for the Jaguars-Cougars game but J.J. jumped ship and will take Miles Brand's car instead. J.J. was seen complaining to Brand that the head of the NCAA may have gotten Bobby Knight out of Indiana but he doesn't have anything on Ron Hunter. J.J.: "He gets so hot Ron caught the bus on fire!" :-)
