It is with great HAPPINESS that Tartan Magic can announce that our guest of the evening in Toronto will be Mr. Les McKeown!!!!! (applause, woohoo's, much fanfare and belly laughing!) Les is excited to be coming to Toronto to spend time with his North American fans - and can't wait to get to this side of the pond (what, it's been nearly three years?!) This will be an intimate evening with Mr. McKeown - no band - so grab your chance now to spend a great evening of laughs and intimate conversation with the man himself!
As always though - this needs to be said... should circumstances beyond his or our control happen, we'll have to just party by ourselves.... and the fest organizers nor Les can be responsible for cancellation, bail bond hearings, impeachment or general broohaha ... oh you get the drift!
Thanks to everyone who registered early. It is always so difficult to plan one of these things not knowing numbers - and the amount of early registrations we had was a blessing knowing you wanted to be in Toronto with us whether we had a Roller or not.

With all hat said - a reminder must be sent out regarding deadlines. So, once again - here they are:
May 1, 2008: Last day to register with a deposit only - yeah, this one is past....
June 1, 2008: Remainder of your unpaid registration money due
Note: Late registrations made after May 1 will need to be fully paid via PayPal only - with an additional $50 late fee. Early registrations that aren't fully paid by June 1 will incur a $50 late fee.
July 1 - registration closes. Registrations not paid in full by this time will be cancelled and all monies forfeited.
At any point after registering if you need to cancel, please send an email to tartanmagic08@ yahoo.com and you will be refunded (minus $30 deposit). No refunds will be made after June 1.
HOTEL:
The group rate is only available until July 02, 2008. We have a block of rooms set aside at our fest rate so If a reservation is made after July 2, you will pay the public rate for the Sheraton if rooms are still available. Once our block of rooms is gone - they are gone... even if it happens before July 2. Reservations made can be cancelled up to 48 hours before check-in without a penalty, so your best bet is to reserve now even if you are on the edge and donŐt know if you are attending or not. Do I hear a fur bus coming down the road? Does Canada HAVE a fur bus? LOL
