Welcome

I have had CFIDS now for 4 1/2 years and am basically fed up with doctors and their response of "Here take this pill try that pill" AND we have "This theory and that theory" And yet still NOTHING concrete to give us.

It bothers me the idea of taking all these medications to help symptoms. Not knowing what the actual 'cause' is or what the long term affects of all these medications might be.

Once a VERY active Programmer Analyst. Which I worked at for some 20+ years. My life has now changed drastically, to say the least. And working as a Programmer you get into the habit of asking questions to solve a problem within a program. All the What If's and Maybe This. . . And it would often end up being, something that was staring me in the face the whole time.

So I thought I would give it a shot and try using that same methodology in trying to help myself as well as all others with this awful illness.

In the interest of trying to find some Common Denominator amongst CFIDS patients. It is my hope, that in asking certain questions, I may eventually start to see a pattern. That will lead to asking just the 'Right' question, that might finally point to a cause.

Maybe if we work together. You never know. We might actually hit on something. My philosophy has always been, "It never hurts to try!"
