Hello Felicity, I am one of the children of Henry Matson who was attacked by Frank in 1917. I have a newspaper article that was published about the event in the Wanganui Herald on August 12 1972. It is almost a full page and describes the attack and subsequent hanging.

I have scanned the article and would be happy to send you a copy if you are interested.
