Hi Sue, I would be most grateful if you can throw any light on my search for the Latham family. My great great grandfather Charles Latham came to South Australia on the Duntrune from Plymouth, UK in 1876. He married a Marianne Eagles on 6th May 1878 in Melbourne, Victoria. They had two children both born in Adelaide (1) Adelaide born on 20/1/1879 and (2) George Alfred on 7/3/1881 (my grandfather). My grandfather George and I presume Charles went to UK when George was a young boy (I am told when he was 8-10 years old.) Charles was a cigar maker (as quoted on his marriage certificate and George's birth certificate. I have found Charles on the 1901 UK census living in London with wife Annie and two sons Albert and Earnest aged 10 and 8. I cannot find an Adelaide Latham on the 1901 census. If possible can you do a look up for a death of Adelaide Latham and/or Marianne Latham in South Australia. Marianne's age on her m/cert is 21 years as is Charles which would make them both born in 1857. Thanks very much for your help, Sandra.
