My ancestor, William Finlayson(1787?)and his wife, Margaret Taylor emigrated to Canada from Scotland about 1823.There is now a large family decended from their ten children.
Family lore says that he had two brothers-Kenneth(1802) and Archibald(1804)- who emigrated to Australia. With this tidbit of info,I invite anyone in Australia to respond on the possibility that there might be a connection.
