Hi Heather,
It's a great service you are offering. I am trying to find ot if there are any photographs of my GG grandfather Gottfried Lehmann and his family who emigrated to SA from Prussia in 1841 on the ship "Skjold". His wife's name was Anna Elisabeth (nee Irmler) and they had 8 children, 2 of whom died on the voyage. They lived at Klemzig on arrival (Anna Elisabeth died after 4 months in Oz). Gottfried and family moved to Bethany then to Krondorf. Gottfried married again to Johanna Dorothea (nee Steicke). They both died at Krondorf and are buried in a small cemetery there.
I would appreciate any assistance you can give.
