Hi Heather, saw you message on Oz Gen. I am very busy researching both sides of my family, but in SA it's the family of Henry and Annie Long who have kept me occupied. They married in 1882 had 6 sons, all of whom I've managed to find info including where and when they died, except their youngest son Jasper born 1884.I found a few police records from the early 1900- 1913 and he was in trouble on several occasions, then he dissapeared. No records of where he's buried or when he died. Jasper is not a common name so I thought I could track him, but no luck. If he died in prison is there any way I can access prison death records?. If you can be of help I would appreciate any tips.
