I have been researching the Ryan/Griffen/North/Spinner surnames and I think the Ryans you are researching are the same ones. Timothy & Ellen had a son Denis who married
Catherine Griffin (all from Limerick) and Martha was His sister I think as witnesses to Denis & Catherine's marriage
(married in Ballarat 1867) were Patrick and Martha Meaney.
Is this the same family?
