Hi Donald,

Apart from the NSW BDM (on-line) there is the RYERSON INDEX which has newspaper death notices up to the present day. They will do 'look-ups' for you on any (newspaper) record you may find -which may reveal family names etc.

The NSW State Library has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (query form on-line) they will check their records including electoral rolls (past & present).

There is also a JOY MURRIN's Transcription service (on-line) -she visits NSW BDM and will search Arthur Nelson's d certificate which will show the names/ages of his off-spring. (her fee is from $7)
