It should be noted that Gray already has much data on Patrick Powers, as he is in possession of a copy of the book titled CIVIL WAR VETERANS IN AUSTRALIA. He has been using this volume, edited by Virginia Crocker (who will confirm all this, if contacted at crockers@ozemail.com.au), to plagiarise data and use it at his web site. Gray is involved in a major amount of plagiarism and breach of copyright, for material stolen from many sources, including the volume, a large number of individuals, and even institutions.

Legal action has already been initiated, and this will most certainly end in a major court case, in mid to late 2006.
An example of the amount of theft that has been going on, is the use by him of copyrighted material of the former Illinois State Historical Library, at one of his web sites, and they are part of the class action to be taken against him.
