I am seeking any infomation on John Waiton who married Alice Thornley in Manchester Cathederal in England in 1848 and in the 1880s was the owner of the hotel at Prospect near Parramatta in NSW. I know that his wife Alice and her children from her first marriage to Jonathon Thornley migrated to Sydney arriving on the ANNIE WILSON in December 1859. John Waiton is buried at Prospect Cemetry but I have not been able to find his origins any help greatly appreciated. Ray
