講者簡介：丁偉教授現任香港浸會大學政治及國際關係學系教授，並在法國巴黎第十大學(UniversityofParis-X(Nanterre))取得政治科學及國際關係博士學位，之後曾於新加坡東南亞研究所出任研究員。丁教授從事的研究範圍包括中國政治及外交政策、國際關係理論，著作遍及中美關係、中歐關係、中國與朝鮮半島關係、中國與印度及巴基斯坦關係、亞洲大規模殺傷性武器擴散問題、中國的區域合作政策、中國核武政策、大陸與香港關係，及香港的對外關係與國際地位。丁教授曾到菲律賓雅典耀大學、美國哈佛大學、英國牛津大學及法國里爾政治學院作訪問學者。此外，他曾獲美國國務院邀請參與國際訪客計劃訪問美國，亦曾應歐盟邀請參加歐盟訪客計畫，訪問布魯塞爾、斯德哥爾摩及雅典。自2007年開始擔任香港歐洲學會主席。
