First, who ever made that rule must of been a poacher...

From a logical standpoint, we have three seasons, so Three Bucks should be the least we except...

Question: these Bucks, will it be three point or better, or one buck allowed to be above the ears, notice I didn't say anything in measurements.

Talked with a Gamewarden this weekend, his take on the three points on one side, were will the breeding come from when all the 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 pointers are shot, he went on to point out that all these bucks are known to get bigger, spikes are gambling material, they might and they might not get bigger, the ones that do get bigger are once again in the lottery to be shot, leaving the cow horns and 4 pointers for life, to do the breeding, remember he said they're 4-6 years old staying below the radar!

Like Jim said, he pointed out, the herd in florida isn't big enough to do QDMA as it is done in upper states!

This same warden, doesn't like the non-transferable permit system, he's not interested in arresting people for petty issues, this one he feels will be taxing the already short staff of wardens!

jim,

If as we talked before the percentage of hunters getting more then 3 bucks a year is in the single digets, what Good is this going to do for the Herd in reality, we really need to make changes that will amount to something substantial, I don't know of any WMA that has a deer count that Does can't play a part in what we harvest, many Bioligist that I talk to make recomendations but few are given teeth! Having 10,000 Does doesn't mean they will all get breed, FWC needs to appease us grocery getters, can't eat the horns and our youth won't continue to hunt when we narrow the actual harvestible deer down to 2% of the population!
