The rain was pelting hard against his face. The flashlight was not giving him much light in the storm, but it was really bad. Most men would have stayed put for now, but not Michael. As soon as he saw just how bad the rain was coming down, how hard the wind was blowing, and Michael put himself on a stronger pace towards Nikitas tent. A squall line like the ones that were blowing over the camp right now would have driven all of the girls into larger shelters well before the storms arrived. But since the camp wasnt active yet, there was no one actively up all night to watch weather radars.

Michael saw plenty of tree branches down and the thunder continued to clap to the point that it shook the earth that he was walking on. He had to slow his pace just due to how difficult it was to see in front of him.

Mickey what are you doing? Walter screamed as he came up along side Michael. Michael turned. Why arent you home?

I was in my tent Walter muttered and Michael frowned. The lodge was closer to Walters tent than his own house so it made sense, but Walter had tried to stick it out too long. But now Walter looked at Michael and shook his head. She is out there

Stubborn, Michael muttered as he nodded his head and started down the path again. He had to yank a tree branch out of the way that blocked his line of sight of the tent, but when he did that, Michael saw something he did not want to see.

A large tree had crashed down onto Nikitas tent and the tent had crumbled easily. NIKITA!

Michael took off as he dropped the flashlight. He had to get to the tent. That tree was so heavy and Nikita could be seriously injured. He didnt hear her calling out to him and he was in a hot panic. He would never live if Nikita was injured while he was having a wet dream about her. It was Michaels job to protect the camp. He had done that from the beginning and he did not want to fail right now.

Michael got to the tent and lightening flashed around, showing that some of Nikitas clothes were being blown away. Michael squatted and looked in, pushing a branch out of the way. Nikita.. Nikita

Michael be careful! Walter declared as he came up along side of Michael. Michael pushed at what had been a dresser in the tent and pulled it out, bathing supplies scattering all along the surface of the forest. Michael reached for Walters flashlight, making out that the legs of the bed were still all upright but he didnt see much at all.

Standing up after sitting the flashlight up on its flat bottom to give them some light, Michael looked at the tree. He licked his lips and turned towards Walter. I have to get in there if we move this section here I should be able to get in there and see about Nikita.

Thats dangerous, Michael. The tree is not stabilized. Lets call for some rescuers, Walter tried to pull at Michaels arm, but he was not going to stop. Michael was going to be going in that tent. Michael didnt even voice his argument against Walters words. He just started to move against the tree. Walter sighed and assisted Michael until he squatted again and ducked most of his body into the tent.

Everything was squashed down. The back of the tent, which Nikita thankfully did not use to sleep in like some campers he knew, was flattened. Michael wasnt able to get much of his body in and he pushed at things everywhere, not exactly sure what things were. But he was able to reach a hand up to the bed, and felt that the mattress was empty.

Michael slithered out and shook his head at Walter. She isnt in there.

She was probably heading back to the lodge, Walter spoke and Michael nodded his head, but he didnt like that idea. It didnt feel right. He would have passed Nikita on the way. She was out here somewhere and Michael wasnt sure where. But right now, there was a bit of relief in knowing that she wasnt in the tent. Why dont you go back to the lodge and check it out?

Walter glared at Michael and shook his head. We need to stay together. This is a very bad storm, Michael.

And if she isnt there, I can be looking for her because I would have passed her on the way here she wouldnt have been able to sneak into the lodge without us noticing her she is out here somewhere Michael fired back as he could feel it in his bones that Nikita was out in the elements. He wasnt going to waste time about this either way. He shoved Walters flashlight back into Walters stomach before picking up his own and heading over to the next closest tent, calling out Nikitas name as he went.

Michael did note that Walter hurried back towards the lodge. Michael wished that he was wrong, but he simply knew that he was right. He checked the nearby tents and saw no evidence of Nikita. He regretted showing Nikita all of the camp. He had showed her the numerous shelters that had been put into the camp to look like activities places, but they also served as larger structures to go into when the weather was too bad like it was right now. But they were all so far away. Campers at Camp NightWatch were to go right to the lodge.

Michael trudged into the forest, screaming out Nikitas name. But the wind was howling so loudly and the thunder only seemed to grow louder and more ominous. He was spun around by a large branch falling down when he saw a structure that Nikita could be at and be relatively safe the outside showers. The building wasnt four walls and a roof, but it would be much sturdier than a tent.

Nikita Nikita Michael called out with one hand cupped to project his voice in the noise of the storm. He picked up his pace to a safe run as he moved towards the showers. He was about inside the showers when he paused.

Michael! Nikita screamed out as there was large snap of noise and he was instantly pushed down onto the wet floor of the showers as a tree fell right where he had been standing. He looked up to the wet body that had knocked him over like a linebacker and saw the beautiful face of the woman that he was so worried about.

Her body was against his. This wasnt a dream. This was Nikita. She had just saved his life. There was probably no reason why she should have been able to knock him down like she had, but Nikita had done that. He stroked her wet hair out of her face as she did not move from on top of his body.

Nikita was panting heavily as she looked down at him. She had heard him screaming for her but she couldnt put where he was coming from. She had exited the other side of the showers to see Michael going in the other end. She had been screaming his name as she had heard him a long time ago. She had been to the bathrooms not far from the showers when the storm really started to pick up. The tree fell on her tent pretty much at the first shudder of thunder and Nikitas flashlight had died. She had some sense of where she was, but it wasnt safe enough for her to try to get to the lodge without the flashlight. As she was approaching Michael, she could sense the lightening strike hitting the tree. She saw it happening and knew that by the time that Michael would realize what was happening, the tree would hit him.

Nikita slowly licked her lips as they were the only part of her that seemed to be dry. Michaels thumb grazed against her cheek as he kept his other arm tightly around her waist. He had hit the cement hard and he should be feeling pain, but what he felt was Nikita.

Magnets were always drawn together. They couldnt fight the force and in this moment, Michael and Nikita were magnets. They were forced together. Neither one would know who started the kiss, because they both moved together against each other. Michaels mouth against Nikitas mouth.

They were equals as their mouths meshed together, their bodies having fits of lightening like the sky around them. Nikitas hands running into Michaels auburn hair and Michaels hands into Nikitas blonde hair. The kiss did not end; it was growing in intensity and need.

Nikita moaned first into Michaels mouth as he shifted and leaned up into her body more. He felt her wet body against him and it was as if she was wearing no clothes. His body was reacting to her and Michael did not care. He was kissing this woman that was slowly driving him mad. Michael prided himself in not kissing someone that he didnt know, and he considered that he didnt know Nikita. Madeline would think that he had thousands of conquests and it was easier for his sister to believe that. There had only been a handful of ladies in Michaels life. Simone and Elena were a couple, but they had coupled with Michael with the distinct knowledge that it was only for the sex and that there was no emotions or relations being built.

This was different.

It was a hot fire that was growing and Nikita was in the moment. She pressed back against Michaels mouth as much as he pushed into hers. The feel of his tongue inside of her mouth just made Nikita return the favor, wanting him to feel what she was feeling.

Reality set in just as Nikita began to realize the firm, wet, hot body underneath her that was growing in reaction. Nikita was just about to pull away when she got a good reason handed to her.

Mickey? Mickey? Nikita! Walter screamed as he was much closer to them. Nikita jerked away, realizing what she was doing and how she should have never let that happen to start with. She didnt know Michael and he was the host of the camp. It was best not to mix business with pleasure and it was a line that Nikita could not believe that she had allowed herself to cross.

Michael was the first one to gain enough composure to call out to Walter. Walter heard Michael and turned the flashlight towards the showers and was pleased to see Michael and Nikita sitting on the cement of the showers, unaware of the show that he could have stumbled on if he hadnt called out for them.

Walter pounded into the showers and panted heavily. The worse of the storm will be past in ten minutes... What were you doing out in this, Sugar?

I like to listen to thunderstorms, Nikita whispered as Michael looked at her. He noticed that Nikita started to realize how serious and severe this storm was. He was sure that the next time that there were storms forecasted that she would not be staying out in her tent.

Michael then closed his eyes as he realized that right now, Nikita had no tent and most of her possessions were being scattered around the camp. It was clear that Nikita knew that too and she pulled her legs up to her body. She was protecting herself.

But Michael didnt realize that she was also worried about why she had kissed him.
