 Regas was the perfect person to get Nikita... She needed someone strong taht Nikita respected, someone that sticks to the facts ("the doctor called..", "Michael is on his way..", "Jurgen is pretty sick...") so that Nikita anchors in events how she felt. This opened Nikita to talk with Regas about Birkoff and what he said, Regas acted like a soundboard to Nikita's thoughts in an impartial manner. It was best that Regas was the one to help Nikita put in perspective Birkoff and the friendship that is not there anymore.

Kate and regas seems to be getting along very well. I wonder what the next step in their realtionship will be.
