Everyone says that they just don't know what the judges are looking for. Well, let me tell you this: They are looking for a beautfiul girl. Every year, the prettiest girls end up in the Top 3, and the Top 3 are always right. We see seasoned pageant girls not be successful in this particular pageant. Why? Because this pageant is a BEAUTY pageant. It's not about your clothes, or your modeling. It is about physical and facial beauty. You will never see an ugly girl win this particular pageant. Maybe your girl does well in other pageants, where her modeling, clothes and/or her interview gives her an edge, but in a pageant where you compete in evening gown only, they are looking for BEAUTY. -- North Carolina Pageant Discussion Board
