Subject: I'm not sure as to where I should be with a question such as mine. This is for my daughter.

Hello :)

My name is Betty. I have a 15 year old granddaughter who is a huge fan of Mr. Mochrie. Her name is Holly. Although her favorite is Mr. Stiles, she is also really into Mr. Mochrie and Mr. Sherwood. I did some searching through her favorites on her AOL and came across this message forum. Does anyone here think they could help me out in any way? Read my story, if you don't mind. :)

In March of 2004, I was to take Holly to Los Angeles for a taping of "The Drew Carey Show." You have probably heard her talk about it once before, I'm not sure. We had everything ready to roll. We were to fly in on March 1 and stay through March 5. On the 2nd, we were to go to that taping so Holly could meet Mr. Stiles. We had VIP passes for her birthday, which was on the 4th. Unfortunately, none of this took place. I got tremendously sick a week prior to the trip and had to undergo a life saving surgery the day before the flight was to leave.

We have tried numerous of times to make a show so she could see one of her idols. We made plans to go to one of the Vegas shows last year, but unfortunately, we could never afford the roundtrip expenses and hotel fare. She has looked up to those men for almost three years now, and to this day, she has never met/conversated with one of them.

I feel that it is partially my fault that she hasn't met her goal. I say that because of our trip to Hollywood last week. We flew out there using the tickets that were supposed to be for March. We stayed at my sister's house in Camarillo, Ca. I noticed that Holly kept text messaging one of her mutual friends she met through one of the shows, and I asked her what they were discussing. Her friend told her that she could get into a "Green Screen" taping and invited her to go. My sister wouldn't allow it, saying that it was too far of a drive. I feel guilty for that because I knew of how much Holly wanted that, but yet, I did nothing to pursue it. That same day of the taping, her aunt took me shopping because that is what I wanted to do. We didn't take her to do one thing she wanted to do, and that is probably the last time that I can afford to send her out there, us living in West Virginia. I didn't realize this until we got back home and Holly slipped into a state of depression. She is angry with us right now because of what we did.

I looked at some of the show dates for Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood today. I noticed that they have plenty of East coast shows, one being in Akron, OH which is where I have another sister, and in mid-Feb. being close to Holly's 16th birthday.

Does anyone have any connection to Mr. Mochrie or another Whose Liner to get them this information? I want Holly to have the best 16th birthday and to be something that she can't forget because we don't have a lot and I can't offer her anything else. All she has wanted to do since she was 11 or 12 years old, is to see those men. That's it. She doesn't ask for much at all, and I really want to do this for her. It would mean a lot for both of us.

If anyone has no connection with Mr. Mochrie or someone else, does anyone know of any possible way that I can contact him?

If possible, is there a way to contact Mr. Stiles? I know she would like that even better, but I will settle for Mr. Mochrie need be.

If you have any information that could possibly lead me to Mr. Mochrie or Mr. Stiles, will you please pass that on? I'm in need of great help and I don't know where to start. Please.

:) Thank you so much and God bless :)
Betty Shelton
