The Twin Cities area was one of those areas who finally got Wayne's show in September. It is on here at 11 a.m. One of the local shows its against is the news. I tend to forget that Wayne's show is on. When I do, it's too late. While I have enjoyed some of the episodes of the show, I tend to watch a talk show for the guests...and most of the guests so far have been ho-hum to me. A while back, he had John Larroquette on. Even if Jeff wasn't on Happy Family, I'd be watching for John. Earlier that day, a woman at the Hennepin Government Building (in downtown Minneapolis), shot 2 people. Killing one of them. The station's news department kept on breaking into programming with updates. One of those breaks came just after John came on. It ended right after John's part was done. There were no more interruptions during the rest of that episode. As for Tony Danza having a talk show... I was a fan of his when he was on Taxi. I also liked Who's the Boss. Nothing after that has appealed to me. (I did watch his 1997 self titled show, but that was only because of Dean Stockwell, who was playing his dad.) If Tony does get a show, I hope it's not at Wayne's expense. As for the other shows mentioned, we have both, with Ali & Jack directly competing with Regis & Kelly. I've checked out Ali & Jack. It has its moments...but not that many.
