Subject: Review of June 27th shows, aka "Let's never speak of IDS again!"

I put this on the Idiotboard too, but it's still my review:

Firstly, Kathy's attempt at Newsflash has to be her worst moment of all her episodes so far. She seemed to be leading Colin AWAY from the answer. Was that on purpose? Cuz it didn't work. Luckily she made up for it later in the episode!

Wayne's song to David Hasselhoff was well done, albiet too familiar. (Jerry Springer, hello?) But David did a little improv singing of his own and added a wonderful new twist. That added some welcome spice to the game.

Two Line Vocabulary was nice to see again, with Kathy turning in a VERY good performance that more than made up for the Newsflash disaster. And Dubbing was really really funny. David was excellent, and I loved his 'weapon.' And 3hbs was hilariously bad. LOL. Come on, David, even YOU should've picked it up faster than that.

And as for the credits: how much you wanna bet Kathy Griffin's coming back to the show after THAT? Mmhmm. She'll give her left ovary to get another one of those.

Next show was, in my opinion, a perfect example of how much fun Greg, Wayne, Colin and Ryan have together. All four had a blast. WN was so much fun to watch for me, everyone. Greg dominated the game. Easily. The other three - even Colin, with his most ridiculous WN performance ever - was no match. I see so many geeky white guys acting street, it was the perfect satire. I loved it. Wayne was impressive, however, points for the facelift.

SFAH was even MORE fun to watch. I won't even sumarize. Just watch the game. Everyone had something fantastic up their sleeve. And Film Dub made me laugh, but after two solid games it's kind of a come down.

Party Quirks was very good. It's the first time in years the host doesn't let all three in at once before (s)he begins guessing. Wayne was long gone before Ryan was in. All three guests turned in fine performances. As for Hats, this might mess up the illusion for you, but Greg wasn't laughing about something Colin or Ryan said. He was laughing because at the taping, this game immediately followed Living Scenery. That was actually Greg's first suggestion that game. And he was still recovering from his hysterical laughter. (Guess how I know that.)

IDS: As I said, let's all never speak of this again!

It was a great night for WL fans, everyone. Two great shows.
