Just remember that the following is my opinion and should be taken as such.

I really would like to say that I throughly enjoyed the show...and mean it. But I can't. I thought the storyline was rather thin. My favorite parts were some of the improvised parts, including Jeff doing gangsta rap and when he ran into the audience, about the woman who suggested the Fly Girls. Jeff and Tim were the only real saving grace for me. Maybe it was just me or maybe it was because it was the first episode, but I felt that Chip was out of place as the host. But being the WL fan I am, I'll wait a bit to see if I still feel like that later. As for others on the show...I understand the comedic value of how something can be so bad, it's funny. That was not the case for me with "Fifi and the Professor". I thought that they were so bad, they were annoying. As for the rest of the cast, I need to see more of them. To be honest, if I wasn't watching the show because of Jeff and Chip, I would have changed the channel. "The Downer Channel" may not have been great, but I liked it - even if Jeff wasn't part of it. Here's hoping that the second episode is better.
