Subject: still can't quite get into that one ...
In reply to: Quink 's message, "That one grew on me..." on 06/18/03 9:24am

I don't know why ... but wywo just doesn't quite grab me. Though to my amusement it's yet again the brits providing an idea to the yanks (though this one didn't air first in britain, it's still listed as a bbc production)

Of course, to be honest, neither does the american trading spaces - both are shows I watch and admit some enjoyment to, but ... just don't grab me.

And don't even get me started about the american version of what not to wear ... oy!

Give me my changing rooms, british what not to where (well, if they'd air some new episodes) & ground force any day. The brits just work it well (and I think making half hour eps instead of trying to stretch it to an hour helps as well *L*)

Although I must admit to watching the designer guys ... if only to gawk in amazement at the ... flamboyancy ... of the shorter one. Though I'm still very amused by the fact that the room that made me go 'oooh, I want ...' the most (pretty well dream bedroom situation there - it was gorgeous) happened the one time they were designing a 'masculine' room.

My taste is masculine hmm? hrmph.
