OK, my $1.95...

Like most, I was really a bit taken back that ABC began the show while the end credits for AFV were still running. (It's things like that happening that I set the VCR timer to start a minute before the listed air time.) It was annoying. It's something I hope that ABC isn't going to do more of.

The games...

Hollywood Director - The game itself was all right, but I enjoyed Wayne and Greg the best! The peck on the cheek and the "mounting" on the carpet, what a hoot!

Newsflash - While it may have been the first time that they used clips from a show like "Springer", but it's not the first time they used something from another TV show. There was the one with "Stupid Human Tricks" from "Letterman". As for the game itself, it was ho-hum.

Song Styles - I thought that it was interesting that Jerry acted as though, for a bit at the start, that he was acting as though he might have been in church since the song style was gospel. As for the lyrics, I thought they were somewhat predictable.

Daytime Talk Show - What was the bit about Ryan wanting to rub Drew's head? Is that something from "Springer"? (Can you tell by that question the I never fell into the crowd who watches it?) As for the game, for me, it was the best game of the episode. While Jerry, the ringmaster, did cut Wayne off, but I think that it might had been not his fault directly, thinking about time. I loved Greg as Red's Grandfather! Only he would bring up Red's Jewish Grandfather. Leave it to Greg to come up with something like that!

3-Headed Broadway Star - I have never been a fan of this game...that hasn't changed. I thought that this was the worst game of the episode. I do know that Jerry Springer had/has been something of a singer. The "something" is what I can't figure out. (If he had sung on "The Gong Show", I'm sure that Jaye P. Morgan would have even "gonged" him.) (Sorry for "The Gong Show" mentioning. Caught Chuck Barris on "Letterman" the other night. He may have gotten older, but his wheels are still turning.)

Overall, I sort of liked the episode. It wasn't as bad as I had feared it would be.
