You have no idea how hard my friend and I tried to get tickets!! I heard the other day that, except for the high-priced tickets, everything else sold out in 20 minutes!!

There were two other price ranges; one was about $70, I think, those were the nosebleeds. The other was about $160, and that's the one my friend and I were trying for. We were SO disappointed.

Well, if Billy and Elton get over the silly SARS jitters, hopefully they'll reschedule and we can try again.

You know, I have a very clear memory of seeing Billy Joel on a 20/20 or Primetime kind of show, stating that he didn't want to do any more live concerts because the fans were always getting ripped off with outrageous ticket prices. Hmphf.
