Germans seize fake Indian Viagra

Hamburg (Germany): German customs officers confiscated 40,000 fake tablets of the anti-impotency drug Viagra in a package off a cargo plane from India, they said Friday.


The tablets, worth an estimated 250,000 euros (270,000 dollars) on the black market, were seized in the northern German city of Hamburg.

The 49-year-old recipient of the package was arrested and faces up to five years in jail on charges of breaking patent laws.
