The problem is the hatred that both sides of the conflict keep teaching and learning. Self-defense is permitted, even required.

..... The PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization), and others, want to "liberate" all that land, and the Jews there are acting in self-defense. The war that was started by the Arabs on May 15th, 1948, by their invasion of Palestine, is still continuing as long as no peace treaties have been signed, ratified and strictly enforced by ALL of those concerned. So far only Egypt and Jordan have done that.
