Subject: P O of A Lodge Pin - a mystery - what is it?

I found this lodge pin among family memorabilia but have no idea what it is. A google search turned up nothing, but I did find your web page.

The actual size is 7/8 inch wide x 1/2 inch tall. It's at least 50 years old and probably older. It may have originated in Philadelphia PA.

Can solve the mystery for me, or suggest any other avenues of inquiry?
