I think that the only ignorant N. American that has never lived in Africa is you "AfricaUP". There is no such thing as a black race. There is an African race with more than 5000 tribes in the continent. Africa is not in the American ghetto you live in. Teach African American kids real African culture by focusing more on the African culture and by learning from African immigrants that are recent arrivals in the US and Europe. Learn from them, talk to them to learn more of what African culture really is.
