I've had to go in an delete a bunch of useless encyrpted messages! As a result, I've turned on the Captcha functionality. Poster prints of the 2007 NEO Collage are now available for sale! They are size 11 X 17 (can be trimmed down to 11 X 14 for framing), and are $20 each to benefit the DM Booster group. A sample is posted on the bulletin board at the studio.

Our next DM booster group meeting will be Monday, April 7th at 6 pm. We'll talk about plans for the year-end party, which is June 20th at the Elks in Newburyport, from 6 to 10 pm. We'll also brainstorm plans for fundraising and other events for next year.

Subject: Notes from Booster Group Meeting
Author: Linda & Caron [Edit]	Date Posted: 03/ 4/08 7:08am (24.60.79.48) We had a small turnout last night for the booster group meeting, but here's what we covered: Because of several schedule conflicts, the year-end party will now be held on Friday, June 20th (probably 6-10 pm). Due to lack of interest, we scrapped the family ski day for this year (also, I couldn't find any coupon deals for this week). However, we'll plan ahead for a day next season, perhaps in January or February. We're still hoping to have a St. Pat's weekend danceout at Michael's or somewhere similar, where we can "pass the hat" to raise a wee bit of money. Details will most likely follow from Heidi and Chris. 2007 NEO participants, don't forget to put your photos in the envelope on the booster group bulletin board! Emma and Marjorie have volunteered to put together the collage over NH April vacation.

Hi Everyone
A girl from my old school is looking for a used solo dress to buy and I know many of you have some for sale!! She is about 14 years old and wears a size 6-8 juniors. She would be looking for a dress with about a 36 inch bust and a 28 inch natural waist. She is 5'6". If anyone might have something somewhat up to date around those sizes could you let us know please?? We will be at the studio tuesday night and could pick it up for a try on.

To all dancers who participated in the 2007 NEO, please bring photos to the studio for the annual photo collage. We'll post an envelope on the DM booster group bulletin board in which to place your pictures. We want to be sure every dancer is included, so be sure to find at least one photo!!

Subject: Feis Information

Since the NAFC online schedule is still unprintable, I posted the one from the Peter Smith School. The best way to get information about an individual feis is to go to that site, http://petersmithschool.com, and click on "2007 Northeast Feis Info". (He hasn't updated the date on the link, but the actual 2008 schedule is there.) From there, you can click on any of the schools listed. Good luck, and please don't hesitate to ask any of us at the studio for help!

One more thought--after you check with Chris or Heidi about whether your dancer should compete at a particular feis, it's a good idea to enter as soon as possible. Friday, November 23rd-- Black Friday Babysitting. Parents of younger DM dancers drop your wee ones at the studio for fun and activities with older dancers while you Christmas shop! Several adults will be in attendance. Hours, rates, activities, TBA. We are looking for one or two moms to coordinate sign-ups for this! Post a message below or email us and we will answer; or see us at the studio.

Friday, December 7th-- Family Christmas Party at the Elks Club in Newburyport, 6-10 pm. Potluck, informal DJ & dancing, raffle baskets, bake sale, other activities. A great way for dancers of all ages to gather for an Irish Christmas celebration! We will need volunteers for this as well--food, decorations, activities, etc.

The next DM Booster Group meeting will be at the studio, Monday October 15th at 6 pm. Please join us! Membership forms are at the studio. If you can't come but can help, let us know.

Marjorie's solo dress is for sale-- it was designed by Liz Davis, made by Mags Gogarty, it is one year old,and we are the original owners. It is fuschia silk w/ fuschia sequins and turquoise, apple green and silver appliques & embroidery. Full length is 31", it would fit a slender pre-teen or teen, and has plenty of let-out room. We're asking $700 or best offer. Contact me any time to try it on.
