My apologies for any loose ends left behind after last year’s recital. I could fall back on the ‘my husband was away for ten weeks and my basement flooded’ excuse but it’s getting pretty old...
RECITAL DVDs
I have 3 copies – which I believe are for Hilary G, Kara K and Kerrie P. Ladies, I have them along with your checks made out to the videographer as I paid up front for these last dvds myself. I’ll leave the dvds and voided checks in the studio for you and you may leave a check or cash for me for $20 once you get those dvds in hand.
PHOTO ALBUM – 10 YEARS OF IRISH DANCE
I believe that the key thing that is needed to finish up the anniversary album is to put the names of the dancers on the pages that have the class photos (taken at the recital rehearsal). I will print up the list of names from my computer for those classes and post them on the bulletin board. If moms from the different classes could put those names in the proper order of how the dancers were sitting/standing in the photo, I can print up a listing on some decent paper and put them in the scrapbook, properly acknowledging all those dancers from the 10th anniversary school year. It would be nice to add those from the classes who were unable to participate in the recital, so we’ll add those names as “not pictured” as well.
In addition, there is room for headshots of dancers alone with Chris for the final pages of the album and room for a couple more photos of Traditional Set Winners and Solo Winners from the O’s if your dancer is not already pictured. I think that is it, but if you have something you feel could/should be added, let me know.
PHOTO ALBUM – THE DANCERS
Definitely some wrapping up to do here… I promised several folks a “packet” of scrapbooking materials (Was it $4 per page of materials to cover cost?) and I did not deliver – My Apologies. In addition, some folks did get their scrapbooking materials but didn’t submit their dancer pages to me. So, here’s the chance to get a page of your dancer in the Dancer Book if she isn’t already. I will leave packets at the studio next week, some marked with names of folks to whom I promised packets and some unmarked if your dancer would like to submit a page. Just sign out if you do take a packet and remember it is one page per dancer, include their name somewhere on the page, and don’t use glue (use scrapbook adhesive stickers or glue stick, if you must!). Return the finished pages and I’ll put them in the book by adhering them to the base pages… ANY questions, let me know!
If there are any other loose ends associated with the whirlwind that was the recital and the school’s year end, please let me know here on this board, in person or via email.
Thanks,
Nancy

p.s. My husband and Barry are heading away for a week at a conference (and I’m not even jealous) so there’s my excuse lined up for tying up the tying up of the loose ends…
