Subject: Right now he only has me on a 5mg tablet...cause he likes to start out with the minimum needed then work up if need be..so I'm thinking (and so is he) that he'll be bumping up the mg's in April. About the only reason I can think of that may have made mine so high yesterday was I had taken a couple of sinus tabs the night before for a sinus headache...maybe that elevated the BP too....I forgot to mention that to the doctor yesterday...???
It's wonderful they have so many drugs to help people, but the hard part is getting them regulated to work for each individual!! Sure hope you can find some relief....
In reply to: Denise 's message, "Jeesh Kate! When I started meds mine was 154/100. It took 4 med changes till I found one that worked and didn't make me feel blah. I also started taking it at bedtime so any blahness wore off by morning. Then a neurologist changed my meds to one that was supposed to help with headaches and it worked for several years but now the headaches again so I think if this new med doesn't help I am going to ave to start at square one again (like many years ago) and see a neuro again. Doc ordered a MRI several months ago, that showed nothing and I have labs done regularly cause of my heart and meds I'm on and nothing there so I just don't know." on 5:19:34 am, Thu, 02/28/08
