Subject: What a long long day it was today....(msg)

I had to be at the courthouse in Ridgway by 9:00 and didn't get out of there until 3:45 this afternoon, with approximately 40 minutes for lunch. There were breaks inbetween the selections for the different juries, but you had to stay close...

Thankfully, I was not picked for a jury, but almost...I almost made it to be the 12th juror, but when the case involved some local fires and when they asked if anyone worked with/for an Insurance Agency I had to raise my hand and I think that made the attorney's not want me. Thank g*d!!

It was kind of interesting..but I just don't do well with just sitting like that all day..I'm actually so tired tonight I can't stand it...I'd be less tired if I had been outside digging a ditch all day!!

Started my antibiotics last night and believe-it-or-not did seem a bit better today, I felt a little more peppy and less pooped out. I talked to a nurse while waiting for the selection process and she took one listen to me talking/breathing and asked me if I had bronchitis...I told her that I didn't know, but then proceeded to tell her about the breathing and the swelling in my leg, and she said she'd bet her last pay check that I have bronchitis. So, maybe that is what going on instead of a sinus infection..sort of makes sense since the heaviness I'm feeling is in my chest not my head....

Who knows...about all I know tonight is I'm beat!!!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes..and the luck...at least I got out of serving on a jury!!

Don't you just hate it when you come home that tired and dragged out?? Makes you wonder if that big semi has been hiding around corners again, just waiting for you to walk by. And hey, I'm glad you didn't get picked for a jury. With my history, I can't serve on any criminal trials at all......the judges won't let me.....so even if the lawyers try to seat me, the judge kicks me out. I *can* serve on a civil jury but so far I haven't been "lucky" enough to get picked. Since we moved here, I've been nailed for jury duty 3 times and Gerry? Not once!! And your sickness??
