Subject: So glad to hear that Dommie is feeling better. But that sand storm sounds horrible. We were supposed to get 1 - 3 inches of snow out of this storm system but all we got was a lot of rain. I woke up at 4:30 and looked outside, fully expecting the ground to be white but we were just wet. Places south and west of us though got up to a foot of snow. Our high today will be around 55 with a stiff north wind but by tomorrow, and especially Monday, we're headed back into the low 70's. Just about perfect.
In reply to: V~ 's message, "Well, I asked for cooler weather, and got it...... Unfortunately, the cooler weather came about due to a very severe sand storm. We had winds at almost 60 mph. This made my sinuses flare up, so I was in bed with a killer headache yesterday! Today is not so windy, thank goodness. It did drop us down from mid 90's to about 80 tho. Not sure if it's worth the headache tho??!
Dominoe is doing better. The inflamation seems to be lessening, and I know the pain is less, as she can tolerate tummy rubs now. Thank you, everyone, for your prayers for my sweet Dommie Girl! She is a VERY special little girl!" on 3:00:36 pm, Fri, 04/13/07
