    Where to begin? With the "holier-than-thou" attitude? Or maybe the lack of e-mail address so I can properly chew them out. Like I'm any good at chewing people out anyway. ^_^

    Point is, I'd like to know WHY exactly you find it... entertaining? Your duty?... to annoy the hell out of everyone and generally be a pessimistic ass who apparently likes to pretend they have no emotions other than "cynical" and the aforementioned ass. Though the second one is more a attitude, not really an emotion... But you get the point, right?

    I don't really care if you take this the wrong way and call me a... what was it? Ah, yes, I believe you called everyone here a fucker. Well, you can go ahead and insult me all you like. In fact, I left my e-mail address here so you can do just that, if you feel like filling up my inbox. (Ha! I HAVEN'T sunk to your level in that aspect! I win then, right?)

    I find it rather funny that you've been here for, what? Two, three weeks? And you're so full of yourself that you feel confident enough to just walk right in and insult us on our own turf.

    You want to know what's REALLY pathetic? No, not people who forget to use endcodes. People who, on purpose, start fights over the internet. Because they know that, no matter what, they can always just say "I'M RIGHT, YOU'RE WRONG!!" and any intelligent person trying to argue with them can only roll their eyes. And, as long you're immune to that, you're invulnerable.

    I did a search on "the internet generation," hoping to find an interesting piece to post that we all could relate to(you know, have a "meaningful" message). I clicked on an article, and much to my annoyance it gave the first three sentences before the thing cut off and a big orange and blue graphic said that I could read the rest as a "member" of the site.

    The other day I was trying to look up an article on a UK news site about this aircarrier giving its angel logo bigger boobs. Unfortunately I couldn't read the damn thing because it was 30 days old-- thus archived-- and I wasn't a paying member.

    I remember when you could just surf the web and you didn't have to be a member of this or that to read a damn article. Even Time Magazine has put restrictions on its pieces for those non-subscribers. God's bread.

    So, sorry; I TRIED to find something meaningful to post. Don't I get an effort grade? What? You say no? But why? Because I'm not in middle school any more? Man, I never heard of "effort grades" until I moved to Georgia.

    Quick question, do any of you know how to get ahold of Alic for me? I know, it's a little weird for ME to be asking this, but gimme a break. Ever since the little whore went to cali, she's been like--impossible to find. (heh, much love to alic though) I’ve tried to ‘mail her a few times, but, alas, my messages have seemingly gone unnoticed. I really need to talk to her … so yeah, if you get the chance, could you tell her that Kael(Rose) needs to get ahold of her?


    Not all that much has been happening in my life as of late. I won some speech contest for my district and wound up getting fourth in state, actually passed government (I am not quite sure whether or not to be excited about this, I really don’t care), told off a few people for being “preachy hypocritical bastards”, and had a right good time trying to explain to the officer why I was driving without a license and why I ran a red light. (“I swear, officer Carcock—I mean Carlock—I’ll never do it again”) Other than that I’ve just been doing the typical high school senior things—going to wrestling matches, hanging with my bf, trying desperately not to just quit coming to school and telling myself “you’ve only got a few more months” and trying to avoid anything that has to do with my “future”.

    hey all again, you'll never guess but i don't actually have any reason to be posting here, except that its 11:30 at night and i'm wicked bored, and have no life, so the result is i find myself here, don't know how or why,

    I'm kinda hungry, why is it that the later you stay up the hungrier you get, but if you go to sleep, you won't be hungry in the moring for alteast a few hours. Why is that its stupid.

    My brain is shutting down... damn;t... i really must go to sleep but i have to stay up for another hour, then i can go to sleep...

    I hate life, it seems so short, today i was at a stop light, and i started counting, it got to 23, and i was like, well there went 23 seconds of my life wasted at a stop light, whats the point, i don't get it.

    I don't believe in god, i don't believe in heaven, and some of you might think i'm going to hell, but the hell you believe in is nothing like the "hell" i believe in. I value my thought. i would hate for it to end, or to be permentatly stuck on one single thought, what is it gonna be like when i die, will i stop thinking, thats my greatest fear, my hell if you will, and never once being able to contemplate it either.

    I don't understand why i am alive , why i exist, and yet, there is no proof in a "spiritual" way that anything else around me exists. For all i know this could all be made up. Sometimesi wonder when i'm going to wake up from this dream... cause thats what it seems like a dream, the past has no sense of time, it could of happened in any order, i just know that it did happen.

    Sorry, i'm just tired, quite possibly i'll spend an hour tonight mounring my death... always fun, crying for no fucking reason other then that someone let you be alone and awake for an hour with only the dark to accompany you. Perhaps even a soft blanket...

    Wow. Good timing to be nostalgic... Rooting around through the remnants of my past at 4:00 am, and washed up here. A short week after Thee herself came back for a post. I wonder if anyone remembers me? I made the SPACE:2000 page... it's been a long 4 years since then, and I'm in college now. It feels like another lifetime, but I've been searching the net for old names, and I've found traces of them all... even people I'd long forgotten and never knew well in the first place. It's so strange... So many of the places I used to go are dead, and yet so many others are still alive and active. Thee is even still using the same email address...

    Well. It's definitely food for thought to post here again. I may not ever be back. But it is good to see that the people I once knew still exist--in a way, it vindicates my own existance. I never said a proper farewell back then, but I can say one now, even if most of the people won't be here to read it. Goodnight and goodbye to everyone--may your life lead you somewhere wonderful.

    I just got sick friday. Really sick. my throat is torn and all that shit and I can't move because i injured my back in weight lifting. (it was from snatching too much...it really hurts)

    So, mom wanted to gas up the car and take my brother (he's back from college until feb.) and she asks me if i want anything because I'm laying on the floor in much pain.

    "Yeah, I would like some orange juice, please." You know, I thought since they were going to a gas station they could grab a thing of orange juice when they pay. but no. They just couldn't do that.

    They come home and my mom says in a cheery voice: "We didn't get you orange juice!"

    No orange juice? They were at a fucking gas station!

    me: "If it's a stuffed animal I'm going to be pissed."

    mom: "It's better than a stuffed animal!"

    my brother comes over and unfolds.... A TOWEL.

    I start to cry. You know why? THEY COULD HAVE PICKED UP SOME FUCKING ORANGE JUICE AT THE FUCKING GAS STATION AND COME HOME. BUT NO. THEY HAD TO GO TO A DIFFERENT STORE AND PICK UP A FUCKING TOWEL WITH A SCUBA DIVER ON IT!

    me: "I hate you. You get a towel but not ORANGE JUICE?! I hate you."

    So my mom's pissed at me becuase i don't like the towel.

    Now, to me, if your sick child would like some juice and the parent completely ignores that request, they don't care about their child's well being. Not at all.

    So, my mom doesn't care about my well being, not all. Turns out, my brother cares more than my mom because he went out and bought a gallon jug of orange juice. Then he called my dad and asked him to get a bunch of orange on his way home.

    So, never rely on your parents. Some actually don't love their children. Not at all.

    "Laying Hens

    There are approximately 300 million egg laying hens in the U.S. confined in battery cages — small wire cages stacked in tiers and lined up in rows inside huge warehouses. In accordance with the USDA's recommendation to give each hen four inches of 'feeder space,' hens are commonly packed four to a cage measuring just 16 inches wide. In this tiny space, the birds cannot stretch their wings or legs, and they cannot fulfill normal behavioral patterns or social needs. Constantly rubbing against the wire cages, they suffer from severe feather loss, and their bodies are covered with bruises and abrasions.

    In order to reduce injuries resulting from excessive pecking — an aberrant behavior that occurs when the confined hens are bored and frustrated — practically all laying hens have part of their beaks cut off. Debeaking is a painful procedure that involves cutting through bone, cartilage, and soft tissue.

    Laying more than 250 eggs per year each, laying hens' bodies are severely taxed. They suffer from "fatty liver syndrome" when their liver cells, which work overtime to produce the fat and protein for egg yolks, accumulate extra fat. They also suffer from what the industry calls 'cage layer fatigue,' and many become 'egg bound' and die when their bodies are too weak to pass another egg.

    Osteoporosis is another common ailment afflicting egg laying hens, whose bodies lose more calcium to form egg shells than they can assimilate from their diets. One industry journal, Feedstuffs, explains, "...the laying hen at peak eggshell cannot absorb enough calcium from her diet..." while another (Lancaster Farming) states, "... a hen will use a quantity of calcium for yearly egg production that is greater than her entire skeleton by 30-fold or more." Inadequate calcium contributes to broken bones, paralysis, and death.

    After one year in egg production, the birds are classified as 'spent hens' and are sent off to slaughter. Their brittle, calcium-depleted bones often shatter during handling or at the slaughterhouse. They usually end up in soups, pot pies, or similar low-grade chicken meat products in which their bodies can be shredded to hide the bruises from consumers.

    With a growing supply of broiler chickens keeping slaughterhouses busy, egg producers have had to find new ways to dispose of spent hens. One entrepreneur has developed the 'Jet-Pro' system to turn spent hens into animal feed. As described in Feedstuffs, "Company trucks would enter layer operations, pick up the birds, and grind them up, on site, in a portable grinder... it (the ground up hens) would go to Jet-Pro's new extruder-texturizer, the 'Pellet Pro.'"

    In one notorious case of extraordinary cruelty at Ward Egg Ranch in February 2003 in San Diego County, California, more than 15,000 spent laying hens were tossed alive into a wood-chipping machine to dispose of them. Despite tremendous outcry from a horrified public, the district attorney declined to prosecute the owners of the egg farm, calling the use of a wood-chipper to kill hens a "common industry practice."

    In some cases, especially if the cost of replacement hens is high, laying hens may be 'force molted' to extend their laying capacity. This process involves starving the hens for up to 18 days, keeping them in the dark, and denying them water to shock their bodies into another egg-laying cycle. Commonly, between 5 and 10% of birds die during the molt, and those who live may lose more than 25% of their body weight.

    For every egg-laying hen confined in a battery cage, there is a male chick who was killed at the hatchery. Because egg-laying chicken breeds have been genetically selected exclusively for maximum egg production, they don't grow fast or large enough to be raised profitably for meat. Therefore, male chicks of egg-laying breeds are of no economic value, and they are literally discarded on the day they hatch — usually by the cheapest, most convenient means available. Thrown into trash cans by the thousands, male chicks suffocate or are crushed under the weight of others.

    Another common method of disposing of unwanted male chicks is grinding them up alive. This can result in unspeakable horrors, as described by one research scientist who observed that "even after twenty seconds, there were only partly damaged animals with whole skulls". In other words, fully conscious chicks were partially ground up and left to slowly and agonizingly die. Eyewitness accounts at commercial hatcheries indicate similar horrors of chicks being slowly dismembered by machinery blades en route to trash bins or manure spreaders. "

    Okay i've got to leave for a job interview in less then well, 30 minutes, i'm soooo i don't know anxious, paranoid, you name it... and its only gonna get worse, i want this job i've wanted it for like 3 months, and they haven't been hiring, and somehow i've got to convince her that i am the best choice out of everyone else, and i don't know at all...

    I hate the holidays. My dog died on christmas eve a few years ago. Now, instead of happily waiting for.... ummm... *cough* "Santa", I light a candle and burn it for 14 minutes, one minute for each year of her life. And I'm... well, not a bible thumper, but I still am religious, and all of the commercialization and everyone complaining about the religion in it pisses me off. It is christmas. A Christian holiday. The day that Christians celebrate the birth of our savior. Of course it is going to be religious!!! I don't hear anyone complaining about any of the other holidays! Oh well. This is also the time of the year to forgive and forget. So, even though I am not feeling it that much, I will still say it.

    So, wrestling season has started for me. IT'S GREAT! It's as much fun as I remember. I haven't wrestled any matches yet because you need ten practises and i only have four. (i've been sick) but yes, we're doing much better than last year. Last year we didn't win one match and this year we've won two out of five! it makes me happier. our 189 lbs. match last night was great. Lots of blood from the other guy. I think our guy broke the other's nose. There was blood all over the mat and Brad's (our guy) singlet. Sad to say he lost. :( but that's okay! we didn't get stomped as bad as the jv did. >.< (even though I'll be on jv...) I'm very proud of my guys and the whole team. They have much more motivation to do better this year! Anyways, enough of my ranting.

    First off: Sorry Engoa, kind of stole your spotlight. Didn't mean to.

    I went to the doc in the box today. I have the flu with some sinus infections. I'm taking a pill that has a very, very, very slim chance of killing me. Not only that but:

    I have a heart murmur. An intermitten heart murmur.

    Now, it's nothing to be concerned about unless I get pregnant. And most people know how I feel about having kids. Don't want 'em. But now, if I do have them, I run a risk to myself. So now, it is for certain that I will never have kids unless I get married and decide to get my egg and his sperm together in another woman. But I doubt that will happen. But, just knowing that I have a heart murmur makes me very uncomfortable and sad. I know it is no harm to me...but it is harmful if I have a kid or if I have really high blood pressure.

    And the worst part is: a good fear of mine is not having someone to take care of like a real mother.

    So yeah, I'm in my sixth period study hall. It's in the library. Why? Because they like me, that's why. No. really. I had study hall anyway but I had to go to the library to do my english homework so they said "Why don't you just come to the library?" And i stood there, shocked. I know i'm quiet and I do my work and not fool around (most of the time) but to actually let me come everyday for study hall? That my friends, is a plus. It's a big library with lots of computers and big tables and HUGE windows near the ceiling. I like it here and they like me being here. It's really weird but it's nice. (They want me as an aid next semester and i said yes. Mr. Blank, the librarian lets me have tea and he sometimes plays blues music)

    Am i a suck up? No, i just like it to be very, very quiet and let people let me do my work. I have nothing better to do. and now, I must go and draw and do some...French and some...A.P. Bio and...that's it. NOW: read where ass kissing will get you. ^_^

    Okay, Kael. Let me tell you something. lol. There are quite a FEW reasons why i never came by and visited all you local Idahoans while I was in the area...and that's simply because I WASN'T in the area. I only drove through the Boise area ONCE. With my mother on the way to Utah. The school I was going to is on the Eastern portion of the state of Idaho, just north of Idaho Falls...several hours from you ladies. I had no car of my own with which to make such a journey. And every time after that first that i came back to oregon, it was by PLANE, so that i was several miles above you, if anywhere close. lol. Sorry, darlin. I would have if i could have, but it just wasn't workin.

    I won grand champion at my show. In the senior devision. The highest division there is. Comepeting aginst only 4 people, but they all had 5 times the expierence I ever had riding.

    My grades are up, and I will probably be getting into college.

    I might just get a bareback pad, something I have wanted for the past 5 1/2 years (ever since I found out what a bareback pad was).

    Not much to be happy for. But, hell, if I can be happy, anyone else can, too. Little things. Like the friend who you can call at two in the morning who will talk you out of killing yourself.

    Yeah...so, this monday is my B-day, the 6th. Sab's is next moday, the 13th. I'll be on-line more hopefully because my comp is now really working.

    Okay, for the first time in my life, i really want to hurt a girl. yes, she insulted me, calling me names and all that shit. But the thing is, she's one of the nicest people i know and i don't get why she was dissing on me. She's in the band and i skipped the last practise because i didn't want to make a mess on the field. But I will monday. ^_^
