 I am astonished to hear people have known about the idea for a rubbish tip in this area for years. Any residents of Hawthorn Road like to comment on whether they received a letter last year advising this was a possibility?
In the document on the LCC website it does say they earmarked granite way as a potential site in 2006 - David Wilson built Woodward Close in 2007.....would they have known this?
We have to do all we can to stop this going ahead, it's a ridiculous idea for the road and will ruin the village.
