Subject: Waste Recycling Site Press Release and Roadshow

 Leicestershire County Council have put out a Press Release about the proposed site on Granite Way, Mountsorrel. See http://www.leics.gov.uk/pressrelease.htm?id=165377. There will also be a Roadshow in Mountsorrel Library on the 24th July 2.30pm-8pm.
Cllr. Tony Kershaw says "We would encourage as many residents as possible to go along to the roadshows and take the chance to pick up the latest information, speak to officers and ask any questions they may have." I would urge that as many people as possible go along and protest about the relocation of this site from Sileby to Mountsorrel. Is it just me that thinks this press release was deliberately held back until after the County Council Elections?
