I ask as Arriva currently provide service 99 on behalf of Nott'm county council in the evening at 6:25, 8:25 & 10:25 from Loughborough to Nottingham on Thursady, Friday & Saturday.
They have NO 9:25 service.
Their buses in the other direction leave at 7:10, 9:10 & 11:10.
BUT FROM 12th JULY ARRIVA WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE A 99 SERVICE.
The Loughborough to Coalville leg will be replaced by the 126 as mentioned in the other thread in this series.
The Loughborough to Nottingham leg will be provided (as service X9) by Premiere Travel AND the last bus on any evening (Mon-Sat) will be just after 6pm depending whereabouts in Loughborough you are catching it from.
And, just in case you have never heard of them, Premiere are an expanding and highly regarded company who provide half a dozen local services in the greater Nottingham area (as well as the 12 between Broad Marsh & St. Margarets) as well as coach holidays.
Services between Loughborough & Nottingham are useful for villagers who follow Notts County, Nottingham Forest or want to see cricket at Trent Bridge. I know a number of people do this as I have travelled with them after various games.
