And, as promised, an EVENING timetable for the service. It will be called either the number 9 or the number 9E. I am told this will also operate six days a week (Monday to Saturday). It is provided under contract to Nottinghamshire County Council by Veolia (a company previously known as Dunn Line).

Loughborough (Baxter Gate) to Nottingham (Broad Marsh) : 1900 & 2210

Nottingham (Broad Marsh) to Loughborough (High Street) : 1805 & 2100 plus a service as far as Rempstone at 2300.

Just to confirm that the daytime service runs directly down the A60 from Loughborough to Nottingham but ... CONFUSINGLY *** EVERY *** EVENING *** JOURNEY *** FOLLOWS A DIFFERENT ROUTE (!!!) SO YOU NEED TO READ THE FOLLOWING VERY VERY CAREFULLY...

The 1900 (7pm) departure from Baxter Gate will follow the normal route until Ruddington, then travel around the village, continue down the A60 until the "Nottigham Knight" roundabout and proceed down the Nottingham ring Road past the Showcase cinema & QMC and reach Broad marsh at 1957.

The 2210 (11:10pm) goes directly down the A60 and not around central Ruddington and over Trent Bridge, arriving at Broad Marsh at 2255.

The 1805 (6:05pm) from Nottingham travels over trent Bridge (to pick up football & cricket supporters), and goes directly down the A60 (not passing central Ruddington) and arrives in Loughborough at 1852.

The 2100 (9pm) departure from Nottingham passes the QMC & Showcase cinema before joining the A60 at the Nottingham Knight and then goes through the centre of Ruddington before continuing along the A60 to arrive in Loughborough at 2159

The 2300 (11pm) from Nottingham follows he same route until Ruddington and then terminates UNLESS anyone on board wants to go as far as Rempstone - in which case it goes as far as necessary to drop them all off. There are no pick-ups after Ruddington.

I hope everyone understands all of that.

Simply, there are two each way but only half of them go to Trent Bridge and the rest go past the QMC.
