to steve and all the volunteers,youve done yourselfs proud, i was one of many who laid the track over to birstal from rothley,i also did the steelwork for the pits at rothley and the roof of the engine shed and that was hard work , but the man who should have got the credit , and didnt was nick tinsley. when that line was finished and opened the local papers said it was all the gcr,s volunteers work,but is wasnt, that made me cross, it was a proper company, task undertakings it was called out of new st birmingham. but what you have done has brought a hope , that if you believe in something strong enough it can happen with help . thanks for youre passion steve, good luck. ps , if you know nick, dont mention transit vans.
