The PC has been enforcing the dog fouling by-laws for some time. The streets of the village used to be pretty bad and the recreation areas even worse. The PC pays a dog warden who first asks people to pick up their (dog's) crap and fines persistent offenders. Result much cleaner streets and less but not yet no dog shit on the playing fields.
Cycling on the pavement does not seem to be an issue and safer for kids than being run down by a speeding motorist. Now that would be nice if the PC could collect all the speeding fines. Tony might even save a few pennies or pounds a week on his council tax.
