You've done little to answer my question, and I stand by use of the word "hatred." Here's why.
"Her and Sara both come off as shallow and glitz-obsessed." To whom? There are a fair number of people in this city who appreciate the fact that black and LGBT people now appear regularly in Seen, which rarely happened under the previous author. They're young women being young, which I think is what really grates the most, isn't it?
I think you could argue that sending sports reporters to Cuba and religion reporters to the Vatican is more of a waste of PG resources than two locally produced web shows about local people.
Seen is not the kind of content I'm personally interested in, but neither is Pitt sports. It doesn't mean I focus my irritation with the constant coverage of the new basketball coach's hiring on the reporters covering it. That would be a difference between criticism and hatred: One isn't personal. The other is, and deeply so.
