This is true. And it's the same reason Dick hired Frank Craig away from the Blade, where he was Assistant ME. There's the same level of panic at the Trib as the P-G. Nothing is working, but the powers that be keep coming up with bizarre notions they think will work, but won't. At Trib Total Meltdown, they have a goofy fixation on keeping Dick's screwy dream alive though it's unsustainable. Carl and Betsy, regardless of their work, are little more than window dressing for Clark Building loyalists who think the Trib has a future. If they were smart, both would seek greener pastures.
