It wasn't a joke, it almost happened. But now it's decided P-G's Pirates coverage is a tag team of Brink and Sanserino.

That is what the P-G is going with to cover a Major League Baseball team?
Talk about waving the white flag.
Both of those young men should be underlings to Mike White, nothing more.

The young fellows could use some guidance, which they won't get.

But considering the season started with Dunlap on the beat, there really isn't a loss of quality on the coverage.
