Subject: Refresh my memory...

Why is it that the Tribune hates Rick Santorum so much? He gets blasted regularly in "Whispers" and ridiculed in editorials. Seems like he'd be the kind of guy the Trib would like.

Has to be more than that. He gets the full Teresa Heinz treatment. There must be some agenda that I'm not aware of.

Here are the reasons Rick Santorum is not popular in local Republican circles.

There's a feeling he isn't conservative enough for them (the last I saw he was only ranked the 29th most conservative senator during his last year in office).

Also, local Republican candidates often felt he wasn't supportive enough of them.

Me? I like him. The enemy of Dan Savage is my friend.
