It seems to be about two things now (not just the Trib): Add revenue streams, cut payroll. And the quality of the products aren't even on the radar. And the managers are constantly covering their backs and looking to see if the owners and their bosses are smiling at them so they can continue to pay their big mortgages. They have never been more like low-quality widget factories.

Doesn't the P-G have a similar deal with the Steelers? I think it just gives you advertising rights and marketing accessibility inside the stadiums/arena and with the associated team. Would find it hard to believe it provides better access or muted coverage. Afterall, how could anyone not be critical of the Pirates?
