Subject: Changes at BCT?

New leadership at parent company of Beaver County Times. Will there be changes at the BCT? Does Briscoe stay? Will the sports page actually have sports stories and not gigantic photos supplimented with brief features?

Until there's new OWNERSHIP, not new leadership, nothing will change at the BCT. The sisters don't care about anything but the bottom line. Briscoe is untouchable at this point. He was brought back once after Buncher was fired, and he's doing the same thing he was doing before he left...taking a once incredibly local news newspaper and trying to make it into, well, something.

Most days it looks like a comic book. Really. Giant photo, giant headline, no news sense. They were promoting Madden's piece o' crap column on page one the other day. Used to be a good local paper. Now it's a complete joke.
