I didn't see the reference to the old Press so your arrows in my direction were deserved. Touche. However, direct the barbs at me. I'm a big boy and can take the abuse.

And while we're dealing in history, I'll go out on the limb and say the best sports columnist at either the Press or PG in the last 50 years was Roy McHugh of the Press. Roy, who also ran the Press Sports Department for a couple of years in the early 1960s, was in a league of his own. I suspect Collier and Phil Musick, both very good sports columnist in their prime, would agree.
