I cut a knock-out tank in half, filled one half with 300 gallons of water, filled the other half with 300 gallons of peanut oil, got my cherry picker out and deep fried me one of those Emu's that was pestering me so much. I had to blanch it first to get all the feathers off. Once finished picking, I dusted it real good with Tony's seasoning, swung the picker around set it down in the oil. Took me 10 hours, but that there was some mighty tasty bird right there. I saved the beak and eyes for Nick. He said it was some type of aphrodiziac.
